Our client suffered a water leak rendering a substantial part of their office unusable. We were instructed to investigate the cause including liaison with the adjacent housing association tenants to determine possible causes of the water penetration.
We undertook an intrusive investigation within the demise to determine if the cause was linked to the plumbing, rainwater or foul drainage systems. These were discounted and an infrared survey was undertaken which determined that the leak originated from the adjacent housing association tenants.
